Klangvägen is a footpath lined with works of art that are designed by artists from the Umeå Region. The art works are designed in an interactive way so they can make sounds with an action by the visitor.
Besides the audio installations Klangvägen also invite to good exercise, magnificent views and experiences of nature from Rågbergets mountain top as well as at the water’s fascinating rampage along Öre river.
Klangvägen has two starting points, one at the picnic area in the middle of the village at the end of the bridge where route 353 crosses the river, and the other from Agnäsbackens parking on the mountain.
Klangvägen was build between 2011 and 2014. The project was funded through grants from the Leader UR nära and was made possible by massive non-profit efforts. Klangvägen runs by the non-profit association Klangvägen and is a project of collaboration on many fronts.
